About

Mari Pierce-Quinonez is a data scientist who believes in the power of data-driven decision making to affect widespread systems change.

Prior to jumping into the data science world, Mari was a Knowledge Management consultant to the World Bank and was part of USAID’s Feed the Future Knowledge Driven Agricultural Development team. She has also worked with several US-based NGOs focused on improving the American local and regional food system. Her passion for knowledge-based food systems change continues through her work on various side projects.

Mari holds an MS in Agricultural Policy and an MA in Urban & Environmental Planning, both from Tufts University, and is currently in the middle of a data science bootcamp through Galvanize.
