Mari Pierce-Quinonez is a food system professional who believes in the power of collective impact to dramatically improve the food system. Outside of this blog she is a Knowledge Management & Communications Consultant at the World Bank and was previously part of the Feed the Future Knowledge Driven Agricultural Development team. She has also worked with several US-based NGOs focused on improving the American local and regional food system. Mari holds an MS in Agricultural Policy and an MA in Urban & Environmental Planning, both from Tufts University, and spends a ton of time in her garden
